Week 42: Miracles Of Exact Obedience

So don't worry guys- let me just start by saying we are always trying to be obedient here, and so many blessings are seen daily and it's incredible!

BUT

This week we decided to recommit to being exactly obedient and that very same day everything changed! I feel like so many new blessings were "unlocked" for lack of a better word, because we showed Heavenly Father we were willing to follow Him in all things and, as a result, we have 3 different, new investigators we're beginning to study the Book of Mormon with and have seen many miracles of the power of the Lord's hand guiding the work, and it's just been a really great week.

Also, I LOVE Sister Sanders! She's just so much fun and such a good example of someone who genuinely cares about people in all circumstances and loves to just be there for them and listens when that's exactly what they need and its just a blessing to be her companion!

Also, Celeste from Middleton got baptized this week! This was the first baptism I've been called back for and I love her so, so much, so I was super psyched to say the least!

Anyways, today we got to go to the Meridian temple again so this was our pday and so that's why you've all been updated on a Tuesday! Here are some cute pics 😁 have a great week!

Grandpa asked what a sister trainer does since that is my new calling.  It is essentially like being a zone leader for the Sisters I suppose, so we cover 6 sets of sisters and help with their needs and go on exchanges with them all at least once a transfer and report to the mission President and the AP's how they're all doing, etc. So we are just over 2 and a half zones of Sisters I think, and yeah, we go to mission leadership council (or MLC) once a month where we meet with the ZL's and the MP and then DLC or district mission leadership council to meet with the DL's too and represent the Sisters and their needs in all of the meetings. Sadly, we don't have Sister Conferences, but that sounds kinda fun, haha. That's about all, though! Good questions lol 😁👍👍

Week 41: Another Crazy Week

Sorry I don't have a lot of time to email, but it was fun this week! We went to 2 different potential's homes and both of them said they have read the Book of Mormon before and have felt the Spirit and the comfort it brings! It was really cool to see (again) that the Lord really is preparing people and we just have to find them and help them in the next stage of their progression towards feeling the Savior's love more fully in their lives!

Week 40: Halfway Through Already?

I celebrated my halfway mark and my 20th birthday this past week! I can't believe it's already the summer time- life goes so fast!

For my birthday we ate a cake that a member made me for my birthday (so sweet!!) with the other Sisters and had a party, so it was a fun day!

We helped 2 different families move into their houses and probably will help a few more next week (it's that time of year, I guess). And we have been able to meet a lot of new people that we've been trying to get tin with for a while, so it was super exciting!

Anyways, something I think I've realized is that when you get to know people and their background and who they are, you really love them! That's why the Lord loves everyone so easily probably, because He knows us all already! He knows why we act the way we do and why we are the way we are! So, as I get to know all of these different people it's such a great experience feeling myself grow in love for them! It's super cool 😁👍

Also, Sister Sanders is AWESOME, haha. We are constantly laughing and having fun (I feel like I've definitely gotten super lucky with all of my companions) and I'm super excited for this next transfer!

I encourage all of you to get to know those around you if you haven't already so you can grow in charity for them as well- there's no greater joy!
