Week 43: What we did this busy week.

We had another great week this week. I feel like so much happens every week, I'm not even sure what to put in here, but here's a day by day..

Monday: It wasn't our p-day because we had the temple trip the next day, so I think I already updated you on what happened last Monday in an email on Tuesday..

Tuesday: We got to go to the Meridian temple again! It was so great 😊

Wednesday: We went on exchanges with Sisters Tuku and Saunders, and, because Sister Tuku just got her appendix out this past Tuesday, I stayed in with her as she healed.. it was a restful day 😊👍

Thursday: We had a great district meeting and then afterwards had the thought to go to our lesson with Betty half an hour early, so (unsure why) we did. Then, when we pulled up, a member that lives across the street was angrily sorting things into bins outside in the hot sun alone. So, we walked up and asked if she needed help and she said she was moving and the people who promised to help her never showed up so she'd been packing alone all day and we were able to help her and she calmed down as she talked with us and we shared a message about how He's aware of her and she started crying and said we were an answer to her prayers. 😊💛 Tender mercy to be used to bless His children unexpectedly! Then, we had a really good lesson with Betty right after!

Friday: We had exchanges with the Hermanas and I got to go to their area, and pretty much just sat there as all of the Spanish lessons were being given, lol. But it was super funny because one of the families in their ward was moving the next day so they went to say goodbye to them and the family (the other Sisters came back over to say goodbye, too, so Sister Sanders and I were together again during the hour), although they know a bit of English, didn't want to talk to us in it, so instead they just made fun of us the whole time in Spanish (naturally) and we had no idea what they were saying. They were funny though. 😂 Then, when we exchanged back, we got a text from Sister Tuku asking if we could get something from Walmart for her and, although it wasn't Monday, we wanted to help her so we went. While there, we were approached by a man who said he was a recent convert to the church and he had been trying to contact his bishop because he had questions that were unsettling to him about some things he'd heard and we were able to go to the Burger King that was attached to the Walmart and say a prayer with him and answer his questions as guided by the Spirit, and it was cool to see how the Lord guided us to him as we were just seeking to help people in whatever way we could. He inspired our thoughts and guided our path to help His other children we didn't even realize would be there or be in need!

Saturday: We made cookies and dropped them off at people's houses to contact them and it was a lot of fun, and at one house we've been trying to contact for a while a huge black man opened the door on the third knock and said quickly in a really low voice, "My name's Clyde." We both jumped because we didn't think anyone would answer. It was funny. He was cool though, so that was good.

Sunday: We had church all day long again and everyone just kept giving us granola bars until we felt sick (because we were starving and that was all the food they had). Then, we had another good lesson with Deanna, our new investigator from last Sunday who we're studying the Book of Mormon with.

I know that the Lord knows us all and He knows what we're all going through and what we need, and He does provide- especially when we ask in faith- because His work and His glory is to bring to pass our immortality and eternal life. Our Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ love you so much! Don't forget it!

Have a great week!
Sister Wilcox 😁✌💛
