And, we've been promised time and time
again that Sister Sanders and I will stay together another transfer
(that's our hope!!!!) but just this past week we found out 15 (15!!!)
new Sisters are coming in the mission next week (4 visa-waiters), so we
might have to train, simply because EVERYONE is going to be training!
It's crazy! Between the Sisters who are already halfway through training
from last transfer and those who are going to train the 11 new Sisters
this transfer, and then adding the 4 visa-waiting Sisters, there's
simply not enough Sisters left to have all of the STL's not train. So,
life might get crazy.. we'll see. President said he'll try his best to
keep us together, but his hands are a little tied. 🤔 Whatever's the
Lord's will, I guess. 😅🙄
Also, we've been
praying to find a new investigator in one of our wards that doesn't have
a lot going on in it right now, and yesterday we were in Ward Council
and they invited us to go to a lesson with some of the priests who are
leaving for their missions soon who have been practicing teaching this
family that it turns out the husband isn't a member and while we were
there we were able to talk to him about the Book of Mormon and he
committed to read it again (he's tried to before and wasn't interested
at the time but as he felt the spirit yesterday he had an interest
again) and it was a tender mercy to be able to finally reach our goal to
have at least one person we're teaching in each of our wards! And to
find someone who the Lord's been preparing for us to help (the priests
leave next week for their missions, so we'll be teaching them from
here).
Also, a boy in another ward bore his
testimony on how he and some LDS buddies went camping with one of their
non-member friends and they all started talking about the Plan of
Salvation as the friend had some questions and now they've been studying
the Book of Mormon together and want us to come and help answer some
more questions he has! Youth are awesome and so central to hastening the
Lord's work!
And all the other people we're
teaching are progressing right now still and doing well, so the work is
going awesome as we're trying our best to do the Lord's will!
Great week of miracles!
Love you all,
Sister Wilcox
